Robert T. "Hap" Boyd GE Wind Energy Is manager of US Government relations for GE Energy-Renewables Segment, a manufacturer of utility scale wind turbines and photovoltaic products with worldwide manufacturing facilities in the US, Europe and Asia. Mr. Boyd is responsible for government and regulatory relations in the US at the federal and state levels. Since 1982 Mr. Boyd has held various management positions in the wind industry. He is a co-founding member, a director and former chairman of the board of the Center for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Technologies (CEERT), a unique organization comprised of renewable companies, energy efficiency advocates and environmental organizations. Mr. Boyd also serves on the Boards of Directors of The Energy Coalition, a Texas wind association, Wind on the Wires, a midwest wind group and the Interwest Energy Alliance, a Rocky Mountain renewables group. He is an active member of several other trade associations. Mr. Boyd is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and holds an MBA degree from California State University at Fullerton and a JD degree from John f. Kennedy school of Law. He is a member of the California State Bar. |
